I think many women struggle with some kind of lie that they believe about themselves, even Christian women. The enemy has a way of not only telling us the lie but also works at having us believe it about ourselves. One of the lies that I have believed for many years of my life has been that I’m not good enough. There are many things I could blame it on – being compared to my brothers as I was growing up – whether from a family member or teachers. But when it all boils down, it’s a lie from the enemy… from Satan.
When we’ve believed lies for most of our lives, it can be hard to break free from them. Join me as I journey into rooting out those lies and replacing them with God’s truths. I don’t know about you, but I’d much rather follow what God says about me.
How about you, what lies have you believed about yourself?
The lie that we are not good enough is definitely a tool of the enemy to kill our confidence. I struggled with that for a long time, but I’m grateful that I came to know the Lord and He set me free by the truth in His Word:)
